It's here! It's finally here! My first picture of my new pug baby, Celeste. Not that I can actually SEE her in this adorable bundle of pug bodies, but she's there - somewhere. There were two girls, and six boys - this picture was taken right after the babies were born. Yay! Just wanted to share it with you.

Ooooo!! Will she stay that lovely dark color? They are really cute! :)
Yep, she'll remain black - so now I'll have a fawn and black pug. Yay! I'm so excited!
Lucky! I wish Wrinkles wasn't dog aggressive. I'd love to get her a dog friend, so she wouldn't be lonely when we leave. Did they not tell the color of her collary thing?
Jessie,
Well, no - I get to pick my choice of either of the two girls, so either of them could potentially be Celeste right now. I have to wait until they're 6 weeks old, and then I'm allowed to come over and pick mine out. She'll still stay with the breeder until she's 12 weeks old, but at least I've picked her out and given a deposit.
Oh! Yay! OMG, could anything be cuter?! Congrats! I can't wait to see more pics! I really shouldn't even LOOK because I've always wanted a black Pug and my hands will be full enough soon, thankyouverymuch...
Tam,
There will definitely be more pics coming - the breeder will be taking pictures as they grow up, so I'll get regular updates. :) I had the hardest time deciding between getting a fawn or black pug when I first got Babar, but I opted for fawn since that's the more traditional "pug look". But I've seen some beautiful black ones, so now I just can't help myself. :) But yes, you'll definitely be busy with the baby soon, so no extra pets for you :)
Ohh, that makes sense, then. 12 weeks old is a good time for a pug. I think they need that extra time around mama and siblings. I can't wait to see your little Celeste, when you pick her out and schtuff. Are going to take Babs over to see which one fits with him best?
Jessie,
Yep, I think that's what I'm gonna do - take him over and just put him down with the two girls and see which one he has most interest in. :) After all, it's gonna be HIS little playmate, not mine (well, sorta). :) And I definitely agree about the 12 week thing - I got my pug when he was 8 weeks old, and that really was way too young I discovered later.
I think he'll do best to meet and choose. It only seems fair. Don't want to get one that doesn't get along with the elder weirdo. ;) We got Wrinkles when she was like 6-8 weeks old, and yeah, it's way too young. They need that socialization, learning the rules of dogland. Makes it easier to introduce them to other dogs later on.
